Focus On Elevator Safety

Elevators and escalators can be one of the most expensive assets in a building, and potentially the most dangerous for passengers and technicians.

We do not overload our technicians. Their safety and our reputation are too important to jeopardize.

Keeping current on operation and maintenance codes is one important aspect of our commitment to escalator and elevator safety. We also value and look for in our new hires, solid training and education. All of our technicians have gone through the International Union of Elevator Constructors’ training and certification program.

Rowan U_Bob_machine2This five-year program involves intensive classroom and lab work, mentoring, and in-the-field-training. By the time they complete the five-year program, elevator mechanics have developed he skills, knowledge and confidence to perform their work following best practices for safety.

Beyond training and education, Allied Elevator believes in balancing the workload so that technicians don’t feel rushed to complete their work.  Simply put, we don’t overload our technicians. Their safety and our reputation are too important.
