Recognized for its iconic East and West Towers, the luxury-appointed community of Cherry Hill Towers Apartments now has newly modernized passenger elevators to move residents and staff swiftly, safely, and reliably. Non-proprietary state-of-the art elevator controls and machinery replaced equipment that had exceeded its life expectancy and was increasingly difficult to support due to original equipment obsolescence. >>Cherry Hill Towers Project Gallery

This historic building is situated in the heart of Philadelphia’s Chinatown community, in Center City. Built in 1910, the building and has two elevators that are original equipment to the building’s construction. A broken water main flooded the basement and pit of one the elevators, creating an emergency situation for the building.

Once the water was removed, Allied Elevator went to work ensuring that the pit was dry, cleaning the pit and equipment, removing rust and corrosion, and thoroughly painting the pit with rust inhibitive paint. Afterward, the pit looks brand new. >>Bentwood Condominiums Project Gallery

This two-building apartment community has four elevators serving a community of nearly 400 residents.  The elevators were over 50 years old, and the manufacturer no longer in business. Original bearings in the machinery were beginning to fail, leading to an increase in service calls and shutdowns.  New ownership understood that it was time to modernize. However, with other major system upgrades underway throughout the complex, the owners decided to begin a phased approached to modernization, beginning first with installation of new machines, which are forward compatible with later modernization steps.

The machine room was thoroughly cleaned, reorganized and painted as part of the machine upgrade. >>Cooper Landing Apartments Project Gallery
